Thanx fellas, Moms was never an overly happy person I hope she's in a happier place now and feel sorry I was such a wild child before I left home .
Some cites in So. Cal. allow fireworks stands, other do not so it's no wonder kids grow up not learning how to handle them safely .
When I was very little I was allowed to hold, light and rub around with as many sparklers as I wanted, now I look back and think of burning gunpowder and a red hot metal rod that could so easily blind a running child and shudder .
I used to be one of those who'd put on a large display, usually out in the Desert for safety reasons, now I want to crawl under the bed, getting old has it's down sides

.
I hope all and sundry have a great holiday, remember : climbing up on the garage's roof usually gets you the best free seats to be had .
Just don't be drunk as that damn ladder has a mind of it's own sometimes .
