Our dogs fear the sound of fireworks. Most dogs probably do not like them.

One news item of note. They put a tracking device on an eight hundred pound great white shark off Florida. They located it just off the beaches of New Jersey before July the fourth. In shallow waters.

People that knew this still went swimming there. I do not have a large phobia about sharks. At the same time I would not purposely swim in an area where there was one for certain.

Many issues on the hotplate this summer up here. The majority of people want the immigration stopped. It is applying too much pressure on available housing etc. Personally I tend to agree as perhaps 95 percent seem to go to the largest cities we have. Countries that the replacement birthrate has dropped off. Need more bodies.

It might be better and cheaper to just pay people for having children. Financially the large cities cannot cope with providing all the required infustructure otherwise.

China is really putting more and more financial pressure on Canada. All Canadian meat product is also now banned from here. They claim we abducted a citizen of theirs on a political basis. Under American pressure.

Like Trump our leader has said he will financially help those concerns and individuals impacted. My guess this is semi truthful at best. We are really starting to see the dollar costs add up. I believe China will really do a number on us if we hand her over to the American justice system.

Their strategy may be sound. If handed over a lot more Chinese imports from America may be stopped. As well as from here. My guess is the American system no longer really wants her and the issue. China has made it very clear they will not negotiate on American terms. The Canadian government has been asking for clarification on this issue with no response from Washington they claim.

If she broke laws punishment should be addressed by her own country. I did not think American law extended to outside their territorial borders anyways.
Lots of stuff out there that you just cant see. We are fairly close to cape may here in DE, meaning the shark would have swam right by here. I often see folks pull up threshers, sand, bull, hammerheads and dogfish on the beach, plenty of stingrays too. Don't go in the water at all if it is a concern...they generally wont bother you.
