Thanks I will check it out. Reason I went with the sensor first is that other posters show about a 7" piece of foam tubing attached to the sensor they say disintegrates from age and I want to change it as well. Everything being so old, I'm afraid to start on it unless I have parts to replace thinking that I might accidentally break off the sensor (other posters have done this apparently) while trying to remove the white piece that goes around it and I don't want to find myself without a new one. I've attached a jpg of what the space behind my glove box looks like. Haven't touched a thing, just looked so far!
