I am off to yard sales in a few minutes. Something might interest me. Many people have acquired far too much and go on a dumping spree. I do not see many very young people at them. They have been conditioned to buy new even though it straps them financially. It keeps the economy going but it is painful for them.

One thing I am looking for is a certain brand of lawn tractor that is no longer sold. Perhaps 2 to 3 three years old. Some of these yard sales are estate sales. I went looking at brand new ones and the quality seems to have fallen fast. Unless you go really big dollars. A model craftsman mower we have did not really change that much in the last 30 to 40 years. plus is still in good condition. Where our newer MTD one for the cottage is junk in comparison. Sears in Canada is closed. So I am trying to pick up one with low time on it. I have asked the wife to keep an eye on swap and sell as well.
