An easy way to get around this problem would be to install another image veiwing program(one that has a proper uninstall feature, I recommend PintShopPro Trial version), and make it the primary image veiwing program.

You can then uninstall the new program, and if all goes well it will reset all the file accosiations to the regular windows ones.
