Drinking in general does not seem to be as great in the last few years. Actually on reflection it has been some years since I have observed a drunk or intoxicated person in public.


I was working the evening shift many, many years ago. For some reason I took public transportation. All the taverns were closing on the trip home. It was pretty bad so I never did that again. I would rather not describe the details. I actually felt whatever the driver was paid was not enough to deal with it all. The splash of one person throwing up got his pant leg.
