1999 SLK 230 I had a bit of an overheating problem and changed the thermostat. Now the engine only turns over but will not start. Any suggestions as to where to start looking?

I checked the K40 relay and it seems to be fine.

Changed the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor, with no change.

Help I am desperate to get this running asap/
