I have not noticed anyone posting pictures of any new flex discs bought at the Mercedes dealer. And in fact cannot remember anyone posting that they bought their flex discs from the Mercedes dealer.
With the Motor Mounts it became known who made the mounts from pictures of Motor Mounts bought from the Mercedes Dealer and where the dealer motor mounts are made which is Turkey.
In the case of the Dealer Motor Mount for an 84 300D on the mount itself cast into the rubber is Mercedes Star, the Mercedes part number and the Phoenix logo which reminds me of the Chevrolet bow-tie type logo. There is also a large S followed by a number which I believe is the hardness of the rubber but that has never been verified. The box will have made in turkey on it.
The Lemforder is the same as the above except the Mercedes star is ground off.
I have not seen a similar comparison of flex discs. As I mentioned the flex disc that came off of mine had Jurid on it and I have seen one other pic of a flex disc from another member that also had jurid on it. Have not seen any for sale like that.
The other issue is that Meyle and Febi both have been transition to made in China parts. You cannot be sure where your part is going to be made with them.
