Yea one must use a lot of discretion when buying items of a precise or quality nature. Years ago (before I knew) I bought some LED Christmas lights that shot blue flame when I plugged them in and a laptop power supply that had bare copper where the cord went into the brick. But so inexpensive not worth trying to get money back. Bad quality control.
