well, I guess the moment you sign on the interenet, anybody can get that info about you, so what the heck? Once, I responded to "unsubscribe" post from a porn site. in a month I started getting a regular e-mail with pictures. I deleted that without looking , but my ex-wife's credit card was billed for it. She never used this card on the internet, the account was registered to me, and we paid for the internet (aol) with a different card. When we called the interenet fraud unit, the cop insinuated that I probably ordered these pics. I disputed the charges and never had to pay up, but spent a few interesting days trying to persuade my ex that I really did not do it.
The moral of the story is, it doesn't matter, whether you respond or not- that info is already on the net.
