Few seem to grasp the concept .

I was very broke when I was young, people always made fun of me for being so careful with my funds, they never lived paycheck to paycheck in their heads I guess, I did it in life as well as keeping an eye on the future .

A very nice couple I know managed to end up married with a nice house in Porter Ranch, Ca., a Ritchie Rich sort of neighborhood, the husband spent a year + remodeling it and landscaping etc., sold it for a serious bundle and move to Washington, bought a nice house for ca$h, began taking trips every where and so on, I asked once if they were keeping any eye on the future as neither was working, now they're broke and can't even pay the property taxes....

This is the difference between broke (me in my little Ghetto house making do within my means) and POOR ~ having money but not planning well and now having ago fund me page and talking about borrowing money "to get by" with no plan to pay it back......

Sad but a real thing for many .

I'd sooner live in an abandoned box car than beg or put my hand out .
