Good job Thomas. I think the prior mechanic probably "forgot" to install the passenger side shield, I can't see the factory not installing one.
For those with the M116/117's the process is nearly identical. Big exception being that everything is done from below. Harder to get the 6mm bolts lined up and in as it has to be done by feel. I also found that it was much easier to align the main bolt by leaving the two 6mm bolt loose and only tightening everything down after both sides are done. You still have to move the engine using a suitable lever though. I would also strongly suggest doing one side at a time as there is less chance of the whole engine assembly shifting out of position.
