That's why you're better off not to use a debit card anywhere except your own bank's ATM. Maybe other banks' ATMs in a pinch.
Your rights to dispute a fraudulent credit card charge are much higher than with a debit card.
I thought this was going to be a rebate scam. Hate those too.
