Just go into it knowing that the S class is the most complex electronically, and that these things don't get better with age. The parts are horrendously expensive.

But it does sound like a nice car. I would definitely drive it for a day or two and make sure that everything works, and I would get it checked by a dealer.

Did you finger-check the rotors? There's a potential $1K job.
