By 33-34 it seemed the auto designers where going all out. The sales market was pathetic so they pushed harder for market share. Then to me after that they started to lose it. Or at least that is what it seems like to me.


I doubt any on site are old enough to have purchased new cars back then. A loaded car probably had a heater and a radio. Both where options.The headlight reflectors and bulbs where pretty sad. Most probably hardly remember the vacuum wiper blade systems.


It is not new to many. Yet when I went to change the three clocks to daylight saving time today in the wives car. The menu said daylight savings time. So I toggled it. The two digital clocks went to it instantly and the old style analogue one spun backwards to it. I thought they must have had a lot of meetings to put that one in the center of the dash.
