worn syncros grind when trying to engage a gear, worn
drive gears pop out of gear when driving,and worn bearings will
make a BAD noise the whole time. The 16v tranny was
designed to hold like 400 HP , you could break it if you
tryed all day everyday.
Which brings up a good new thread
in, how many manuals blown,. I know the auto's
break all the time, but never heard of a manual breaking
