Are you writing your own code from scratch? Those later transmissions have to have the authentic MB tools and "phone home" to program the computers. If it isn't an OE configuration and MB doesn't like the VIN configuration, forget getting it flashed with OE software. Pretty sure that's where TJ was coming from with his comment.
