I am parting a W123 (see link here) and would like to take the front subframe with me to get welded/bolted into the project vehicle.

Opinions on whether a W123 with an empty engine bay will survive the tow to the junkyard missing the front engine subframe? Looks to me like it would do fine, but I can't be wrong on this one.
