The cobra is the only car I have owned that would be more fun to drive with an automatic. The shifter is heavy and clunky and the clutch is heavy. Also with the close ratio nature of the transmission it would be more enjoyable if it had just a four speed as the shifting is purely optional in most cases. Heck, it has so much torque you could just put it in fourth and leave it there all the time.
