further to my original post, car is 1988 300e if that should be of some assistance for answer to problem... I have also just been for a approximately 6 k drive and all is perfect, no miss, all correct, however that has happend before so the problem is most likely still there. When the problem arisers the car has no power at all, severe miss but as said before if you can get the revs up it still misses but at least you get going.
