Hunkering Down at the Lake

We are hunkered down at home so I decided to do something outdoors away from folks. I bought a beautifully kept, always garaged 19’, 1999 model Ranger Bass boat. I did a good bit of Bass fishing many years ago, but it doesn’t match up very well with someone working full time so I drifted away from it for various reasons. Now I have the time and am very close to one of the best big bass lakes around, Lake Fork, number 26 in the US.

I am putting it at my daughters lake house where they have an extra boat lift in the boat house so it will be out of the water and out of the weather when not in use. It is on a good lake very near Lake Fork, so it won’t be difficult when not fishing the local lake to load up and trailer to Lake Fork.

Being able to fish during the week when the lake isn’t so crowded will be a nice change. I think this will be a real good way to be safe from the virus without staying cooped up in the house. I’ll keep y’all posted regarding my fishing success.
