You are not alone, millions of people are ignoring the lockdown requirements which differ by state of course. The stats for my state are something like 60% of people are not observing non essential activity outside the house emergency rules.
Starting a new hobby, buying new equipment, making sure you are out travelling around with it, getting gas more often, ect. You are increasing your chances of virus transfer. Now it wouldn't be a problem were it just a few people, where it becomes a problem is when 20 million larrys decide they are going to take up bass fishing during the crisis, and an unknown percent of them are carriers of the virus with no symptoms.

No, YOU are not getting it. I am not within fifty feet of ANYONE and I am OUTDOORS in any of these activities. I’m pumping my own gas with a nitrile glove and what supplies I buy, which has been nothing so far, I buy online. I walk around the outside of my daughters lake house to get to the boat house with no contact with them. When at the lake I am rarely closer than a quarter mile from anyone and am outdoors.
I am getting the idea that there are some city people on here that don’t understand there are places where you don’t have to live on top of one another. With my flying and fishing activities I am not in a position to endanger myself or anyone else. If I were, I wouldn’t be doing it.
Reminds me of a guy from inner city Philadelphia that I was in the Army with. He refused to believe that there was anywhere in the US that you could average 50MPH or more. He came from a different environment and didn’t have enough breadth of mind to understand that there are different places and environments on Earth.
