Basically physically being involved. Offhand I can think of no country that does want to physically attack America.

The constant economic wars are what they are. When you add a physical component to them countries are functionally ruined. The death toll of civilians seems high and the destruction of their property and lifestyles is also all too common. You really cannot win doing this.

The possibility also is it would be cheaper just to pay a fair price for a commodity than the military cost otherwise. I question the legality of sanctions as well.

Then they would hopefully be able to buy more of whatever you have to sell if their incomes where greater.

I just think it is better to have friendly relationships other than this constant grief. Without American interference they would be more likely to settle up with their neighbours.

Certainly they have some questionable leaders. Like America does not? Intervention in another country should only be mandated by the United Nations when there is no other choice,. That was the intent of setting up the organization so let it work. Somehow Canada seems to function reasonably well without all this type of activity. We do some united nations mandated missions. Yet that is about it. We even have a defence budget as well. Again even though nobody is trying to physically invade us. Who would even want to? Historically empires never last either. Asia is the growing new Empire is the reality that cannot be avoided.
