None of the above.
I purchase fuel exclusively via gas cards. Helps me track monthly usage and determine how best allocated and how often to fill which vehicle and so on.
So while quality is extremely important, convenience is tantamount! Where is such-and-such station located in proximity of our house, and on trips, which stations are most likely to be found in a particular region?
For example, Amoco was the card of choice when I lived in the midwest. When I started traveling to and from Texas, Amoco could not be found south of KS, and Texaco stations were prolific. So I had a Texaco card for use down here. There are three stations within a couple miles from my house, and two near work.
Now Texaco is Shell, and Amoco is BP, so I have those cards now. The Shell card actually gets me by all the way to Missouri, so I only use the BP card if it's the only station I can find and I'm running low...
