No clue how it's done in Canada, but down here in the states I'd never consider running dyed/untaxed fuel. My 617 wouldn't care, and I have no moral objection, but the potential fine makes it just not worth the trouble.

If you post on CL or Kijiji that you'll fill 5 gallon fuel cans for $0.50/gal under what the current going rate is, you'll have it gone in a hurry.
