I spent a couple of weeks driving a CLA 250 a few years ago. The thing rode like an empty dump truck and the transmission took forever to find a gear if you needed quick acceleration from a moderate cruise speed. The four cylinder engine has good power, but was rough with lots of turbo lag.

Then there was the engine stop feature at stop lights. I could override, but had to push the button after every start, and the constant "beeping" from the various sensors that thought I was too close to another car... no thank you... I know how to adjust and use mirrors.

Overall I though it was a terrible car compared to my 190E 2.6 five-speed, but all modern cars have way too many nanny features.
