I removed my TDC transmitter, looks like AKA tach sensor pickup.

The pin in the balancer has been creaming it.



I did find some pics in the FSM, 03-345 on Checking correction and adjustment of TDC transmitter. Pics are nice and clear for a change too.

( I tried to attach the link, but it just goes to a search page, not sure what I'm doing wrong here )


They mention a " locating device" , and in 23 they mention loosening the adjusting slide with an arrow pointing to the threaded post that the transmitter is screwed to. Is this the adjustment?



Looks like something is out of adjustment if the pin is contacting the transmitter, but I can't see anything with an inspection mirror and a light. And it's not the best area to try poking around in.



Anybody have any experience with this?


Upon previewing my post, in the pic with the bracket and pin in it, is that big bolt the adjustment?
