Dieselbenz1: PM. No issues with operations but at 140K miles I thought it time to do, if just to see what’s in the bottom of the tank. I have to pull the intake hose off to get the screen out so figured I’d change both.

I do some long distance driving and am just trying to eliminate breakdown issues that might occur far away from home base. I already changed all the fuel lines in the engine compartment last year so this will finish the fuel system lines. Now I have to figure out what to do about the injectors—they’re also due for a service and I’ll probably send them out for reconditioning and nozzles but need to do some research there.
