Second thoughts on the flywheel issue.....
You might wanna back up a few years, say to chassis#111 - where you can pick and pull flywheel from common standard shift 6 cyl. finbody engine. This could be more likely match than later MB diesel version for your inline 6, assuming the '73 4 cyl flywheel is no go.
Lets see..... 1967 flywheel - 1970 engine - 1973 tranny
Next question...... never mind the pedal assembly and siamese hydraulic fluid reservoir - thats easy because sheet metal cutout plates are in your floorboards and plastic reservoir will pull right out of brake master cylinder.........
BUT.... you wanna know for sure internal clutch mechanics (slave cylinder - to - throwout bearing arm) dont get mixed up and fall short, or constantly hold the pressure plate in partial disengage.... on account of possible variations in flywheel thickness between '67 and '73.
Hey CT - how far back does the K4C tranny go..... does it also cover the finbody years?? Dosoakie has one hell of an idea here that could make vintage history.
Oakie, am hoping the junkyard still has the rest of the '73 cause you're gonna need the entire clutch hydraulic system, pedal and tranny mount - as I'm sure you are aware. Damnit you might get the entire conversion done for less than $500 + labor.
