Would think a top rebuild and fresh transmission would be a plus. Did a top rebuild and installed a rebuild transmission in my 300SE when it only had 90K. The 300SE drives like a Swiss watch now.
The owner/friend is having his mechanic going over the entire car before the he sells it.
