It was clearly rebuilt, as was the head. When you looked at the condition of the grimy m103 they were connected to. It was clean and had a silver coating on it much like some heads I've had redone.
The car in question (~92 300E) had many many new parts, all factory parts.

Manually pulling it down into low seems to help sometimes but doesn't wholly alleviate the issue.
It slips past the converter flash point or grab point if I'm not giving it a lot of fuel.
It is propelling itself forward but not how it should, once into second, it grabs and goes like stink.
