After putting a few miles on it, it feels like a normal transmission.
1st gear is strong(seems the longer b2 piston pushrod did the trick) and the 2-3 flare is mostly gone as well
One thing that I noticed when I first pushed in the Piston cover in, it didn’t bounce back and stuck, I could see a bit of the o-ring. I thought that was indicative of not enough pressure if the spring isn’t fully contacting the piston cover

Makes one wonder about the rebuilder and whether that was the reason that 300E was junked...

Fingers crossed this trans holds for a few years
