I will volunteer for what it is worth, but I am only about 60 miles from San Diego, so may not be much help to them. How about preparing a list of shops along their route from the 'Good MB Shops' forum? I know one locally, and my brother is in San Diego and has a favorite shop where he takes his 123 diesel.
