the engine needs to spin faster if the glow plugs are not working properly or the compression is too low. also crack the injector lines to make sure fuel is getting to them.

how long since last start?

running good / starting easy at that point?

i never had to resort to starting assist like pam or wd40 or starting fluid
so i don't know if that would help
