I have a 89 MB 300SEL. The rear door was opened by someone too hard and the metal arm pulled out. The door panel had to be removed and the bolts removed so the entire metal arm "works" could be removed in order for the door to shut.

ANY idea what I am looking at TOTAL COSTS for repairs?

When the door would not shut the fuse had to be removed so the alarm would stop. Now when I put the fuse back in (the door is now shut) the alarm keeps going off! Does something need to be RESET?
