I am looking to repair the worn area of the driver seat bolster on my 90 300SL.

Does anyone have any comments, tips, or experience with repairing what appears to be a typical 300SL leather tear.

The 3/4" tear is at one of the couple of worn spots at the apex of the drivers seat bolster.

I have seen some do it yourself leather repair kits on the internet.

I am not looking for an invisable repair I only want to prevent any further damage.
