As far as I'm concerned that story is completely unreliable. I believe the pictures but obviously the account is faulty since it indicates that the engine caught on fire. I certainly don't see any fire damage.... you guys.

You have to be a moron to do something like this to a car. Maybe this was the guy's first stick shift. The people on that forum feel sorry for this guy?!?!?! I have no sympathy for people who don't have the intelligence to learn how to drive their machines properly.
