As gifts go I had to wait for a larger excavator to appear. They were booked solid all summer and fall. It appearing the few days before Christmas was a gift in my mind. Although I never heard an excavator scream that loud when pushing over a building. I had requested the largest one they had. They sent the next size down. Claimed a big deal to float the big one. . There was a piece of metal starting to make a noise when there was a wind. Far too dangerous to get way up there and secure it. Trees blocked getting at it with a boom truck. That had to be stopped.
