Yes 3 shifts, 4 speeds/gears. Select low from a stop, this should put the car into first gear, go back to drive and see how many shifts. It should be three.

Anybody...will the W123 V PS pulley go onto a W124 serpentine dual pump? Next question is will the V pulley on a serpentine dual pump align with the V belts?

I've seen diesel heads with what looks like a block off plate where the SLS pump mounted. Does yours have one?
