Here's is a good question. Can you just ignore the guy when he motions you to pull over? Or do they send a car after you. Up here the cops stand on the road like that in the city and wave you over if you are speeding (they sometimes have a partner on a Harley in case you don't stop). But couldn't you just say you didn't know it was a cop and that you usually don't stop for construction workers? I am pretty sure around here they have to be in uniform to ticket you.
