Ok its definately not flaring. It takes a while for it to go into gear and it does that in any gear even reverse. When I put it into drive or reverse without pushing the gas I wont hear any noise. If there is any noise, I think it would be a thud.

Also, I remember before all of this started that I would hear like something dragging when I would drive. It kind of sounds like when your brake pads rub, but it wasnt. I couldnt tell if the noise was coming from the front or the rear of the car.
