Once I saw the oil in the exhaust I knew it was turbo rebuild time and I also had seen previous posts of people rebuilding these. Some successful some not so. I had a turbo rebuilt 10 or so years ago for $650 cdn soI thought maybe I could tackle it. Only when I found lots of different kits offered did I get concerned. Yes I know lots more than just replacing seals is why I am tending for a replacement cartridge and I'm just pricing them out but looking to be closer to $200 cdn for new. Kinda takes all the risks away for an ok price since its a real pain to remove from a w124.
