Thanks for the clarification on the cars they have imported with standard transmissions. I have not followed the different sedans available after getting my car in 1979, although I anticipated that some of the sports cars came with standard transmissions.

And, frankly, I don't consider you a nut for wanting a standard. I kind of like shifting for myself, too.
