Hello all,


I'm very new to the forum and quite new to classic Mercedes-Benz ownership. I have a 1973 W115 220D.


I was upgrading the glow plugs to the new pencil style glow plugs, including wiring, using the below link:

When pulling the level to crank the engine the starter motor no longer enganges. Is there something I have done wrong?


Any help would be much appreciated. I'm sure it is something simple as it was working about a week ago when I had the old glow plugs in place.
