I have never been RAM-bound, and can run a virus scan in the background without turning the machine to molasses.

So I was quite surprised to run the evaluator and be told my machine won’t run Windows 11. I’m ticked off.

I know I can get a new MB and CPU and for a few hundred bucks, just upgrade. But I won’t.

I expect that at some point, I am switching over to the new 24” iMac. Or the next one.

Microsoft is losing me with this. WTF is going to be so good about 11 that I should trash a perfectly functioning PC to get it? I know there will be support for Win 10 for another couple of years, but this ticks me off.

How many hundreds of millions of PCs will be zombified because of this?
1. How old is your computer?
2 Is it a cheapie? Throwawy computers tend to be cheap because they’re built with low end old components which obsolete faster.
