It’s a Ford designed/built engine. I’ve driven an LTV Wonder RV built on that platform. It actually drives very well for an RV. The engine has a lot of diesel rattle under acceleration but quiets down at cruise. Figure on 17MPG ish in typical RV use. Over a couple years hanging about LTV forums I never saw anyone have problems with the chassis. That said,I bought one on the Sprinter chassis. Mostly because theSprinter had just been redesigned and was so much nicer and feature rich. The Sprinter also had an additional 1,000lbs GVWR, which is significant. Also both seats swivel - also significant in such a small living space.
