I got them from that place in Connecticut that offers lifetime replacement, so no worries there; plus it is an easy job. Just seems weird that they could collapse so fast, but then I have been driving a lot, and on some rough roads.
As a side note, that is not the only thing that I have replaced prematurely: Engine air filters (after 8 months) and cabin air filters, again, because of the heavy highway and other construction in this area.
I was horrified to see the amount dust, dirt, sand and *Cicadas* clogging my engine filter housing, on both intakes, when on a whim, I replaced them two weeks ago. And the cabin filter was simply filthy.
I have resigned myself to doing those monthly until all the highway construction, and associated dust plumes, that I drive through daily are finished. And last year I thought to myself, "Replacing the mounts was so easy I could do it every year," having no idea that would actually be the case!
