I had the ant problem just like nate. But strangely, they ALL just vanished overnight. No pestisides, no poisons. I stayed on top of food scraps/anything ants like, ('cept water!). I had/have spiders inside & was careful not to disturb them Man! They scarfed down those ants! I live alone and dont have any issues with spiders. Or snakes either. Anything eats ants and/or rodents is OK by me.

Another thing:
I found a college web site, (I dont remember which), that recommended mixing borax with apricot jam, they tested & found apricot jam worked a bit better than other sweets.

Also, mixing borax with 'not salty' fat, (as in, not bacon fat) works fairly well, , ,
