Hi. New to Mercedes forum posting. Ive always loved 190E and Cosworths and the W124 models.
Thats my look. I like these models.

Local guy has a 1991 Japan 300e-24 with 125,000 kms and also a 1990 300TE wagon from Japan with 200,000 kms. both not rusty. Both great plaid or pattern interiors.

Both came up in discussion yesterday for sale for $6000 CDN for the pair.
Both Blue exterior.

I've personally never had a Mercedes (wife has a GLK) but I do love the old SLs and the Hammer and AMG look W124s.


300TEs and 300Es seem to be all over the place, with Bring a Trailer Killing it for clean looking examples. Should I pull the trigger or am I setting myself up for a world of hurt.

I guess I figured Id buy both, and clean them up to my high presentation where I like my cars to be, and then see which one I like driving the most----passing along the one I like the least. Or I like them both and keep them both.

Not going to post a lot of pictures here yet.
