UPDATE

After years of solid running, my car developed closed loop (warm running) issues. Looking back at what I did above, I believe I know why.

I checked the signals at the ECU connector and was not careful enough to keep from opening up the connectors. I believe after some time the ECU lost connection. I ended up rebuilding the fuel distributor (FD) and matched flow rates at what I calculated to be about 3000 RPM.

If you are after a really smooth idle, I would suggest you read my write-up here https://www.benzworld.org/threads/m103-98-ke-jetronic-inspection-rebuild-recalibrate-including-ezl-and-cruise-control-questions.3079533/#post-18254767 BUT match your fuel flows at an overall rate of about 0.5 gallons per hour. After all that I did, my idle is quite good with the very occasional and very mild bobble.

If you want HP, set your differential pressure at the 0.4 BAR (or slightly higher) spec and match your flow rates at around 3 gallons per hour.
